Philip wore a rug, liked to sing at weddings and wore navy blue blazers with gold buttons and faux crests. He was thick in both body and mind and his son was the devil. Eileen, his third wife, the local ABC television newscaster, had a flawless complexion with flaxen hair, but could drop dead at any moment. If only my wife had listened to me and not invited them to the family Thanksgiving bash that fateful year.
