Yes, I'm the grumpy old man when it comes to cheering for the Montreal Canadiens. I've always found it obnoxious how seemingly everyone in this city gets so wrapped up with the fate of this hockey team. To all those die-hard hockey fans I ask, "Why do you care about the fate of a group of professional athletes who don't even know you exist?" Better to root for someone you know - family, friends, a neighbor.
