State of the Union of Civility

Anybody else out there notice that etiquette and civility have blown into ashes like the Icelandic volcano? It might be an unanswered e-mail, a long delay or no response to a question or inquiry or a client with little or no consideration for one's time? And then there's the issue of sloppy work even with the big boys. Think that the recent Wall Street / banking mess is a natural progression of this general lack of consideration for the other guy.
