Two weeks later:
Lee held Harry's Monkey Business script and tossed it on his desk.
"It's good, Harry, it's good. Won't cop you an Emmy, but it doesn't need a rewrite."
Harry beamed, "Yeah, I kind of felt that I nailed it."
"Let's not get carried away, Harry. It's good enough for a show like this about a tubby Golden Retriever, but Shakespeare it ain't."
"Shakespeare wrote some crap too."
"What's good, what's crap? A few assholes proclaim something's good and everyone follows. " Lee rose from his chair and looked out the window. "How'd you like a staff writing job on the show?"
Harry was having a moment and it was good.
